Biography: This year has been a rather trying year. I had two choices....drink or paint - I chose to paint. After graduating from the University of Houston with a B.A. in Art History I left Texas (and painting) and moved to Los Angeles. After living in Los Angeles for six years I have decided to reignite my love of art, art history, and painting. During my studies at the University of Houston I was introduced to Pre-Coulmbian history, art, and culture. I fell in love with the hieroglyphs and meticulous designs of all pre-columbian cultures. Their designs/communications are just as beautiful today. My current work illustrates that beauty and incorporates it in to modern design.
